Version 2026-10-19 · Effective October 19, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SmartBarIQ Solo app, the SmartBarIQ companion apps and the SmartBarIQ smart bar cabinet (together, the "Service") provided by SmartBarIQ ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is about alcoholic drinks. You may use it only if you are of legal drinking age in the country where you live (for example 18 in Israel and most of Europe, 21 in the United States). You confirm your birth date when you create an account; we refuse accounts below the legal age and store nothing about them. Nothing in the Service is medical, nutritional or legal advice, and we do not encourage the consumption of alcohol. Please drink responsibly, never drink and drive, and never serve alcohol to people under the legal age.
An account needs your full name, your birth date and an email address that you verify with a code we send to it. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address and for everything done with your account. One account belongs to one person; do not share it. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings; your name, email, birth date and preferences are erased and a stand-alone bar is removed.
The Service helps you keep track of the bottles in your bar, suggests cocktails you can make, builds shopping lists and lets you plan events. With a SmartBarIQ cabinet it also measures pours on the built-in scale and lets guests order from a menu. Bottle levels in the stand-alone app are estimates you enter yourself; measurements from the cabinet are made by its scale and may differ from the real quantity.
When you let guests order drinks or invite people to an event, you are the host. You are responsible for who you serve, for checking their age where the law requires it, and for the drinks that are poured at your bar. We do not sell, deliver or serve alcohol.
Do not use the Service to break the law, to serve alcohol to minors, to harass other people, to interfere with the Service or its servers, or to copy or resell the Service. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
Cocktail recipes, product names, pictures and descriptions in the Service come from our database, from public sources and from you. We do not guarantee that a recipe is accurate, safe for people with allergies or suited to your health. Check the ingredients yourself.
We work to keep the Service available but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may change or remove features, and we may update these Terms. When the Terms change in a way that matters we ask you to agree again in the app; the version you agreed to is recorded with your account.
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for decisions you take based on the Service, or for anything that happens at an event you host. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the consumer protection law of the country where you live gives you other rights.
