• Inventory Data — Bottle names, brands, types, and quantities stored in your bar cabinet.
• Usage Data — Pour history, weight measurements from the built-in scale, and drink preparation logs.
• Guest Orders — Drink orders placed by guests through the guest ordering feature.
• Device Data — Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection data used to communicate with your Barly cabinet (LED lighting, smart lock, scale).
• Barcode Data — Images captured temporarily by the camera for barcode scanning to identify bottles.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Manage and display your bottle inventory.
• Track pour measurements and drink preparation.
• Provide cocktail recipe suggestions based on your available inventory.
• Process and display guest drink orders.
• Control your Barly cabinet hardware (lights, lock, scale) via Bluetooth.
• Improve the app experience and fix issues.

3. Permissions

The Barly app requests the following device permissions:

• Bluetooth — Required to connect and communicate with your Barly smart bar cabinet.
• Camera — Used for barcode scanning to identify and add bottles to your inventory. Images are processed locally and not stored.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device and may be synced to our secure cloud servers to enable features like inventory backup and multi-device access. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data during storage and transmission.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who assist in operating the app (e.g., cloud hosting), bound by confidentiality agreements.
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights.
